Moments of Reflection, Inspirational Thoughts for Writers was published over 12 years ago and still encouraging writers as they seek wisdom in their journey of publishing.
After years of attending Christian Writer's conferences, I had the opportunity to hear the late Mr. James Russell, President of the AMY Foundation. He taught us how to form a Church Writers' Group in our community. He stated, "Christians who are frustrated by the deterioration of America are in a position to do something that can help fuel a major revival. We can sow the seed of God's Word as never before. And we can do it by means of a rather unexpected source - the secular print media." This led to my first Church Writer's Group.
Beginning in January the next Church Writer's Group begins. Our goal is to write to change lives for Christ. "Christian Writing is more than entertainment; it can make a difference in people's lives. It is not a desk job, it's ministry. It is the Christian writer's ministry to grip the reader in order to make a positive change in his or her life. I don't write to impress or to make a living. I write to touch lives. That motivation influences everything that I write." The Write Way, a believer's guide to effective communication.
