A Time to Remember

Judy begins her novel about a family who lives in a small community in the deep south. They live in a quiet neighborhood with a huge pecan tree in the front yard. Across the street is an old dilapidated hotel.

Carla reminisces about these challenging years as she shares about the day of the accident when she was only five years old. At the time of the accident she lived with her grandparents while her dad was overseas.

At the young age of five years old Carla remembers she and her friend Jill walking up the street to the store to buy some bubble gum. Suddenly out of no where Carla is hit by an ambulance. The driver shocked, picks her up and puts her in the back of the ambulance and rushes her to the nearest hospital.

As Davis details the events Carla's life journey through childhood and the years beyond, she illustrates the importance of seeking God through tough times and teaching her children about living a faith-filled life.

A Time to Remember is based on a true story about one woman's journey from when she almost lost her life as a child, to accepting Christ in her heart as a teenager, to living a life of faith today, as she demonstrates that, no matter what we face, God will never leave nor forsake us.
