Happy New You Coming Soon

Happy New You Reading the Bible Through was inspired in 2013 when I prayed, "Father, what devotion would be good to read this year?"  God spoke to my heart "Why not write your own 365-day devotional?"

I have been writing each day of the year in this book. The desire to read the Bible through came many years ago as our pastor preached a sermon on it.  For over 20 years I have read Genesis through Revelation each year.  My prayer for this book is to help others see the importance of reading God's Word through each year.  

 

I have been writing for Christian publications since 1985 when I read my Bible and prayed, "Father, you have been so good to me what can I do for you?"  I opened my Bible to the following words "Write every word I have spoken to you in a book" Jeremiah 30:2.  

 

I had never written but a few letters and felt I had no qualifications but with persistence and determination this journey began.  Needless to say, it has not been easy but with God all things are possible. 

 

He led me to different places including attending writer conferences each year for almost 20 years, writing a column for the local newspaper, and going to college while working a full time job.
