My new book the Olive Wood Manger was published this year. This is my first children's book and favorite. God is so good as He gives me ideas, concepts and insight to write. Each book I write has Scripture. I wanted to tell this story of God's goodness of blessing me to be able to go to Israel many years ago. Now I have another keepsake to share with readers, not only the manger set, but this book.
My friend Beth Herron wrote the following review.
The Olive Wood Manger is a beautifully designed hardback which features a sentimental collection of Judy Davis' own holiday reflections and family photos. This author lovingly demonstrates how a nativity set is truly the most essential Christmas decoration. While touring Israel, the holy nation of our Savior's birth, she herself purchased an exquisite one carved from olive wood. It has become such a significant symbol of Christ's advent for her family and will surely inspire readers to focus on the true meaning of the holiday season.

What joy to celebrate the birth of Jesus with a copy of Judy Davis newest book,
ReplyDeleteThe Olive Wood Manger!. The Olive Wood Manger was tenderly written to share Judy's Holy Land treasured memories/photos with us, but also to express that the gift of the nativity is an experience, not just during the holiday season, but through every season of our lives. The Olive Wood Manger is a delightful symbol
of Jesus, our master woodcarver, as He implants and carves Himself into our children and grandchildren, who are our little shoots and buds in Jesus! Order your book today at judypdavis@windstream.net and enjoy a treasured moment with your family today!
Sincerely with love and affection,
